Irene Mae Henthorne, 69
HAMMONDSVILLE — Irene Mae Henthorne, 69, of Hammondsville, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at East Liverpool City Hospital, after a long illness.
She was born April 29, 1937, in Sandyville, W. Va., a daughter of the late Oscar and Rosa Ellen (Shields) Rowley.
Irene was a loving mother and homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, George F. Henthorne, at home, whom she married June 4, 1954; one daughter: Sherri Hull of East Liverpool; two sisters: Frances Endfinger of Sumpter, S.C. And Ruth Hogue of Hope Mills, N.C.; two brothers: Gilford Rowley of Reynoldsville, Ohio, and John Rowley of Irondale; two granddaughters: Sarah Merriman of East Liverpool and Ashley Markle of Wellsville; two great grandchildren: Richard Markle and Alexavier McHenry; and many nieces and nephews of whom she was a large part of their lives.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jessie Rohall, and two brothers, Perry and Paul Rowley.
Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
