Melody Starr Alexander
July 23, 2005 to February 9, 2007


Our precious 18 month old daughter, Miss Melody Starr Alexander, also loving known as ‘JB’, joined Jesus and her nanny in heaven unexpectedly around 8:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2007 at her home.
She was born prematurely in an ambulance in Johnson City, TN on July 23, 2005 and was the daughter and little princess of her loving parents Crystal Tester and Sonny Alexander. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and cousin and will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the wonderful spirit she possessed. Melody was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Tester, in December 2005.
In addition to her parents, Melody is survived by 3 brothers: Jake Alexander of Bean Station, Jarred and Landon Garrett of the home and 1 sister Alanna Privette, also of the home, 2 very special ‘surrogate’ moms: Tabetha Lambert and Rita Miller of Johnson City, 2 very special ‘surrogate’ dads: Greg Lambert and Randy Miller also of Johnson City maternal grandfather Archie V. Tester II of Johnson City, paternal grandparents Cecil Alexander of White Pine, Dreama Hernandez of Texas and Mamaw Risa Trent-Walker of Morristown, 5 special uncles: Dallas Tester of Johnson City, Daniel & Robert Alexander of White Pine, Paul Tester of Jonesborough and Christopher Hernandez of Texas, 2 special aunts: Alicia Hopkins of White Pine and Beth Tester of Jonesborough as well as 6 cousins: Julius Alexander of White Pine and Logan, Skyler, Lucien, Kagan and Raelyn Tester of Jonesborough and all of her special family at Goodwill Industries in Morristown, TN.
The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Farrar Funeral Home; 1806 Main Street, White Pine, TN.
The funeral service for Miss Melody Starr Alexander will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at 11:00am with Pastor Bobby Lewis officiating; interment will follow at White Pine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her uncles Dallas Tester, Robert Alexander, Daniel Alexander and Christopher Hernandez.
