Norma Jean Haddix-Hedger, 71, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was the widow of Millard (Pete) Hedger. A homemaker, she was a member of Ark of Mercy Church of God. She was a native of Jackson, Kentucky and a daughter of the late George Walter (Green) Haddix and Florence Molands Haddix Flack.
Survivng relatives are five sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil and Helen Perkins of Winchester, KY, Danny Ray and Deana Perkins of Sevierville, TN, Arnold Eugene and Paige Perkins of Lexington, KY, Charles Wayne and Frances Highley of Brooksville, FL, Calvin Todd and Nikki Highley of Springhill, FL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly Ann and Ronald Chism of Winchester, KY, Judy Kay and Bill Thompson of Eaton, OH; two brothers and three sisters; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2008 at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St in Winchester, KY. Services were conducted by Pastor Janice Claypool. Burial is in the Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, KY.
Visitation was from 4 p.m. Monday December 1 until the hour of service at the funeral home.
