This memorial website was created in the memory of my beloved Father, Paul Thomas who was born in Springfield Ohio on June 13, 1947 to Elden and Melissa Sutton Thomas, and passed away on August 15, 2007 in North Franklin, Pa. at the age of 60. While riding his motorcycle he had lived in the Mansfield/Ontario area most of his life moving to Crestline in 1995.
A 1965 graduate of Ontario High School, he retired from Foodtown Corp. after 37 years of service. He currently was employed at Kroger in Bucyrus and was a member of Crestline VFW Post 2920. He enjoyed camping, boating, water skiing, travel, vacations and riding his Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Ann Dillon Thomas, whom he wed Sept. 2, 1997; his father, Elden Thomas of Ontario; two daughters, Suzanne (David) Ruggles of Greenwich and Melissa (Greg) Hedge of Mansfield; son, Michael (Angela) Thomas of Mansfield; his stepchildren, Todd Wallace and his fiance, JoAnn Rand of Shelby, Tonya (Chuck) Ratliff of Shelby, Tracey Craft of Mansfield, and Travis (Amber) Craft of Johnsville; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Don) Cummins of Ashley; nephew, Michael (Julie) Cummins of Montana; one great-nephew; his mother-in-law, Pauline Schiffer of Shelby; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother; niece, Yolanda Moorehead; and father-in-law, Dick Schiffer.
We will remember him forever.
