Ryan Edward Coon



Ryan Edward Coon, 21, of 1991 Creek Road, Cooperstown, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at his home following a sudden illness.

Born September 10, 1986 in Franklin, he was a son of Edward and Nancy Combs Coon.

Ryan was a 2006 graduate of Oil City High School.

He had been active in flag football, youth football and 9th grade football. He was a past member of Boy Scout Troop 17.

Ryan loved to hike and be with his family and grandfather, William Combs, who proceeded him on March 2, 2008.

He was employed during summer vacations with the City of Oil City. He also worked for the Roadhouse and Bonanza restaurants and Arby’s and was last employed by Tapco Tubes in Meadville.

Along with his parents, Edward and Nancy Coon of Oil City, he is survived by two brothers, Joshua Coon and wife Shannon of Reno and Travis Coon of Oil City; his fiancée, Stacey Bryan of Cooperstown; one son, Zachary Allen Edward Coon of Cooperstown; and a niece, Kaileigh Coon of Reno.

Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Debara and Calvin Adams of Seneca, Robert and Shirley Combs of Hanover, Thomas and Michele Combs of Franklin, Craig Combs of Oil City, Judy Cochran of Oil City, and Art and Nancy Coon of Buffalo NY; 3 great aunts and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty J. and William Combs and his paternal grandparents, Muriel and Kenneth Coon, and an uncle James Cochran.
