Santos Leon Garcia
R.I.P Santos Leon Garcia Gone but forever missed. April 10th 1992- August 3rd 2007 We miss you

Santos was a very outqoinq, funny, lovinq, smiley, person. He loved to hanq out with his friends &+ fmaily. He had a smile that would light up a room, &+ make a sad, cryinq person wanna jump up &+ start sinqinq. His personality is what made Santos, Santos. He was only 15 years old when the lord needed his help. At the time Santos had juss completed the 8th grade at Leverette Junior High School. The joy's he experienced in his short meaninqful life were those times with family &+ friends. He liked qoinq to Adelante &+ Sofia Quintero Cultural Arts &+ Positive Choices. He left behind so many familyy &+ friends. I would like to end this with Santos's poem. *[Leavinq Memories.*| I heard a knocking at the door, somehow knowing who it was There in the door stood Death No smile, no anger, not even a hint of pity Aboslutely no passion I could not tell if Death was a man or a woman It had a form and shape But it's long heavy robe disguised or hid what it was I believed Death was always cold And the heavy robe was it's only source of warmth Death held out its hand slowly, strong and firm I too slowly held out my hand But mine was shaking, trembling with great fear But when our hands touched,my fear quickly flew away I knew I had many questions to ask But I only asked the one, "Why?" I did not know if Death had a voice, but I had to ask Death looked at me and spoke in peace "It was your time" We walked out into what was neither light nor night Hand in hand we walked I could only imagine of what I was leaving behind I was leaving memories That I was someone's friend, neighbor,a student That I was someone's nephew, cousin, brother,a grandson, and of most important A mother's son My tears clouded my eyes knowing that i would no longer Hear the laughter of my family, taste or smell the flavors of life Or never again feel the wetness of the rain When it would soak my clothes nor Feel the warmth of the sun kissing my face I turned around for the last time The place of strong and long memories Some good, some bad, some happy, some sad But the thought I held the strongest They were my memories to my own Never to be erased, never to be forgotten As I looked back with a just a trace of a smile I blew a kiss from my lips Hoping my mother would feel my love,a love without end I waved a small goodbye to my past As equally to a hello to my future *[Written in Memory for my friend, Santos Garcia (Joe Balderas.)*|] R.I.P Santos
