Tarrie Ranae Haworth, age 53, lost her 3 year battle with cancer on Friday, August 1, 2008, at her home in Platte City, MO. She went to high school in Excelsior Springs, MO, and lived in the Lawson, MO, area from 1970-2005. She was the owner/operator of Tarrie's Barber Shop in Lawson, MO from 1990-2000. She enjoyed going to places where they had dance bands so she could dance and she liked her computer. She found the nac of working on computers and enjoyed chatting with her friends and family through instant messengers such as Yahoo and MSN. Survivors include her Parents, Lloyd and Jackie Haworth of Canton, KS. One son and daughter-in-law, Christian and Molly Tanner of Dearborn, MO. Four Grandchildren, Stephen, Abby, Joshua, and Emma Tanner of Dearborn, MO, one sister, Georgia Haworth of Canton, KS, one brother, William (Bill) Haworth of Ottawa, KS, two nephews, Jeremy Haworth of Wichita, KS, and William Haworth of Ottawa, KS, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Tarrie was laid to rest at the Canton Township Cemetery in Canton, KS, on Monday August 4, 2008.
We remember Tarrie through her laughter, her bad jokes, and everything she did here while with us. We hope this site helps us to say, "Good Night Tarrie" and not Good bye, because we will see her again some day! We love you and miss you!
