Tliesa Carmen Marie Renee’ Hooten, 25, was born October 2, 1978 to James Craig Davis and Clarese LeAnn Hooten in Kansas City, Missouri, were she was a lifelong resident.
Tliesa was educated in the public schools of Kansas City and was a graduate of Van Horn High. She was employed with the Kansas City Water Department, the Storm Water Division, where she was known as “the sandwich lady”.
Tliesa was a disciple of Christ and was attending the Sheffield Family Life Worship Center. She was raising her sons in a Christian home, teaching them to live a godly life. She was a loving mother, a beloved daughter, a sweet sister, a companionate friend and a caring and thoughtful co-worker, with a smile as big as life itself.
Tliesa departed this life on Thursday ,August 12 ,2004 at the Research Medical Center and will be greatly missed by all.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Kenneth DeWayne and Keenan Shid Guzman, of the home, father, James C. Davis, mother, Clarese L. Davis, two brothers, James Craig and Immanuel Hooten, all of Kansas City, MO; half brothers and sisters, paternal grandparents, Jake and Josephine Davis, Kansas City, MO; maternal grandparents, Clarence Hooten, Kansas City, MO and Emma E. Haggott, Atlanta GA; special friends, William Riley, III, Shielaiva Beverly and Gwendolyn Wilson, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
