Mom died Feb,12,2002. She died of brain cancer, at the age of 67. Mom battled breast cancer & lung cancer & was tested twice a yr for uterine cancer, they told her she was cancer prone. Mom was a fighter she beat those cancers but she just didn't have the strength left in her to fight the brain cancer. She is missed very much. She left behind her 3 adult children, Brenda, Steve,& David. Along with 4 grand kids, John, Christina, Kyle,& Glen, 1 adult step grand son, Tony, 2 great grandsons, Conner & John michael, who came along after her passing. 4 step great grand kids, Brenda, Brandon, William & Jesse. A son & daughter in law, John & Angie, & a new grand daughter in law to join the family, her name is Sondra. Mom loved all of her kids equaly & unconditionaly. She loved doing so many things, like her & dad goin to Vegas, playin Bingo, shopping, having all of us at her house all at once, lol, that was brave, lol. She was fun loving, joked around & teased, givin hugs & kisses, feeding all of us, lol, no matter what time it was when we'd come over, she'd go to the kitchen to fix us something to eat, even when we'd tell her we weren't hungry, lol. She would speak her mind & didn't mind tellin you what she thought either, some times she could really embarrass you to, lol. She had so many stories she would tell us of her life as she was growing up, lol, some of those stories we heard many many times, dad would come into the room & say "is she tellin you those stories again", lol. Last but not least, her husband William "Bill", who died 3 yrs later (Sept 5,2005). Family was the most important thing in her life. She is laid to rest at "Rosecrans National Cemetery", San Diego, Ca. along with her husband Bill. (our dad) duh, lol. They were creamated. R.I.P. momma, miss you so so very much, Love you <3
